Raksha bandhan will be celebrated on 22 August 2021 Sunday this year. It is always celebrated on the full moon day of hindu month Savannah every year. It shows the Great bond of brothers for her sisters. As we all know Raksha means protection so on this day sisters tie rakhi on the hand of their brother and brothers promise to protect them from all the miseries of life. The auspicious timing for celebration is between 06:15AM to 5:31 PM. The Bhadra timing will end from 6:15 AM.
The Purnmashi tithi will begin from 07:00PM on 21 August and will end on 05:31PM on 22 August. Sisters pray for the well being of their brothers on this day and brothers in return will give them gifts and also take an oath to save them entire life from any misery.
