With the use of Aadhaar-based e-KYC authentication, Airtel Payments Bank offers a smooth and paperless savings account opening process. Use your Aadhaar number to enter any authorized Airtel retail location to start the process. An active mobile number, an Aadhaar card, and a PAN card are necessary for KYC. Form 60 must be filled out if there isn’t a PAN card.

You can use your Airtel Payments Bank savings account to pay utility bills, make cash deposits and withdrawals at more than 5 Lac banking locations across the country, recharge your phone and DTH, and shop both online and offline.

Using the My Airtel App or going to a nearby banking location, you can open or manage your Airtel Payments Bank account.

You need to have an active mobile number and an Aadhar card in order to activate your account. If you would rather not use Aadhaar, you can choose a non-Aadhaar-based account by going to a bank branch and filling out the online account opening form. It is required that you provide your PAN card number during the onboarding process. Form 60 needs to be submitted if a PAN card is not present.

Process to open Airtel Payments  bank account

Open the website or the Airtel Thanks app on your smartphone.
Put your mobile number in here.
Select an identity proof from the list of available options, such as an Aadhar card, Voter ID, PAN, or driver’s license.

Enter the number from your driver’s license, voter ID, or PAN.
To complete the confirmation, enter the OTP (One-Time Password) that was sent to your mobile number.
