Every Indian citizen who owns a credit card must have linked their Aadhaar to the credit card by now, but if you have not done it yet, then you should. Linking Aadhaar to your credit card at a Branch
- Take the original and a photocopy of your Aadhaar card and visit the nearest branch.
- Ask for the Aadhaar Seeding Form
- Fill the form with required Aadhaar and credit card details.
- Put your signature
- Hand over the duly filled and signed form to the official at the branch
- The concerned official will then verify the Aadhaar details with the original copy and will forward it for further processing.
- After all the details are verified successfully, you will receive a notification on your registered number.
Linking Aadhaar to a Credit card through Customer Care
- Call the customer care number of the bank whose credit card you own from the registered mobile number
- Listen to the options carefully and choose the Aadhaar seeding
- Enter the 12-digit biometric authentication number
- While being on call you might be asked to enter your 16-digit credit card number as well.
- After successfully verifying your credentials, you will receive a confirmation message through SMS on your registered mobile number.
Linking Aadhaar to a credit Card through SMS
- Use the SMS banking service
- Enter the Aadhaar and credit card number
- SMS it to the specified number
- After verifying it successfully, you will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number.
Linking Aadhaar to SBI credit card
- Go to the nearest SBI branch with the original and photocopy of your Aadhaar card.
- Get the Aadhaar registration form from the branch.
- Fill in all the required details.
- Write your Aadhaar number as well as your Credit Card number as well for verification.
- Signed it
- Hand over the form to one of the officials at the branch
- The concerned official will then verify it and will pass it on for further verification.
- After verifying your form and details, you will receive a confirmation SMS on your registered mobile number.
Linking Aadhaar to SBI Credit Card through customer care
- Call the customer care number- 1800 180 1290.
- Listen to the IVR carefully and select the correct option to link your Aadhaar card.
- Enter the Credit Card number and the Aadhaar card number.
- After the details get verified successfully, you will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number.
Linking Aadhaar to HDFC Credit Card at the Branch
- Go to the nearest branch, take your original and photocopy of your Aadhaar Card.
- Ask for the Aadhaar registration form.
- Fill in all the required details, make sure you carry your credit card too.
- Attach the photocopy of your Aadhaar card and sign it. Submit the form to the official.
- The official will verify the form and the documents provided by you.
- Once it gets verified thoroughly, you will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number.
Linking Aadhaar to your HDFC Credit Card through Customer Care
- Call the customer care number 1800 266 4332/ 1800 266 4332.
- Listen to the IVR and tell the customer care executive that you want to link your Aadhaar card to your credit card.
- You will be asked to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar card number and the 16-digit credit card number as well.
- Enter all the required information.
- Once everything gets verified, you will receive a text message on your registered mobile number.
The same process can be followed with each and every bank, if you wish to link your Aadhaar to your credit card physically, then all you need to do is take the photocopy and the original copy of your Aadhaar card with you, get the form to link your Aadhaar card and get it verified.
